Amna Khawar is a freelance writer based in New York City.

Amna began her career in corporate philanthropy managing employee sustainability programs and worked in marketing at an ad-tech firm before making her way to writing. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service.
A New York City native, Amna spent her teen years in Lahore, Pakistan before returning to the United States. She is passionate about writing as a tool for social change and enjoys South Asian arts & culture and travel.
